Our story

We want to come back to reality, but keep everything we gained from the digital world.

We’re on a mission to get personal robotics right, by building kind machines for human growth.

How we got here.

  1. The digital world won.

In the 1960s humanity went to the moon. And then we hit a crossroad, between the real world and the newly born digital world. The digital world won. Humanity’s focus shifted from the stars and into screens.

  2. We know where this ends.

Wall-E. The Matrix. Disconnecting us from reality means disconnecting from growth. In the last few years the physical world is coming back, from reusable spaceships to humanoid robots.

  3. A skeptical curator melted.

Six months of a robot exhibit at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. The robots could only track people and “breathe”: no speech, no content, no task. People loved them.

  4. Tangi.

A desk lamp that is also a robot, and the first device designed by us.

  5. Tangware Studio.

Devices designed by you, with our studio: making electronics and industrial design as easy as software.

The founders.

We had the privilege of taking part in unique learning experiences. From math olympiads to mission-critical training, and in the creation of movies and media. We know that there is another way than school. Let people choose their own path. Support them enough that failure becomes fun, not scary. That’s when real life becomes a sandbox.
