These Terms form an agreement between you and Rosewood Systems Inc. d/b/a Tangware (“Tangware”, “we”, “us”). They cover your use of tangware.com and what you buy from Tangware. By using the site, you accept the website sections. By paying, you accept the sections on sales.
To buy from Tangware, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
Tangware sells Tangi in two ways today, and an AI subscription with it:
Tangi is in active development, so its features may change before it ships.
A pre-order pays $1,299 USD today for one Tangi unit and its first year of AI subscription. It is fully refundable any time before your Tangi ships, as described in Cancellations and Refunds.
The deposit is a one-time, fully refundable payment of $2 USD. It holds a first-year price of $1,599 for one Tangi unit and its first year of AI subscription, instead of the launch price of $1,999. It also gives the person who paid it priority access to the first production release and personal onboarding if that person completes a final purchase.
The deposit is not the purchase price of Tangi and does not fix a delivery date. The held price excludes taxes, shipping, accessories, and optional add-ons. It is personal, non-transferable, has no cash value, and cannot be combined with another offer unless we say otherwise in writing.
Before any final purchase, we will show you the product configuration, included features, full price, taxes, shipping charges, service costs, estimated delivery window, warranty information, and the terms that apply. A final purchase is a separate order and payment that you choose to make.
The first year of AI subscription is included in the first-year price. From the second year, $100 a month, month to month. Cancel online any time.
Prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed through Stripe's hosted checkout, which sends a receipt to the email address you give there. The number of pre-orders and deposits is limited.
We sell to adults in the United States only for now, and ship Tangi only within the United States.
We aim to ship by the 2027 holidays. That is a target, not a promised delivery date, and we will share shipping dates once we are certain. If we cannot offer you a unit, we will refund what you paid as described in Cancellations and Refunds.
You may cancel a pre-order for any reason and receive a full refund any time before your Tangi ships. You may cancel a deposit for any reason and receive a full refund any time before you complete a final purchase. Email hello@tangware.com from the address used at checkout and ask to cancel. We charge no cancellation fee.
We will initiate an approved refund to the original payment method within seven business days. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post it. If we cancel the founding release or decide not to offer you Tangi, we will refund your pre-order or deposit without you asking.
This refund promise is in addition to, and does not limit, mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other consumer rights that apply where you live.
We will use the email you give at checkout for receipts, material updates about your pre-order or deposit, purchase invitations, and other transaction-related messages. Marketing messages remain subject to the choices described in our Privacy Policy.
You may use tangware.com to learn about Tangi, sign up for build updates, pre-order, or pay a deposit. Please do not interfere with how the site runs, try to reach parts of it not meant for you, or use it to break the law.
If you sign up for build updates, we will email you news about Tangi. You can unsubscribe from the link in each email. How we handle your email address is described in our Privacy Policy.
The text, images, designs, and software on this site belong to Tangware or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal use. Please ask us before you copy, change, or use them for anything else. Please do not use the names Tangware, Tangware Studio, or Tangi in a way that suggests we made or endorse something we did not.
The site links to services run by others, such as Stripe's checkout. Their own terms and policies apply there.
We provide the site as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tangware is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, a pre-order, or a deposit, and its aggregate liability relating to a pre-order or deposit will not exceed the amount you paid. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer protections.
Delaware law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms deprives you of mandatory protections or a forum available under the consumer laws of the state where you live.
We may update these terms. Changes to the website sections apply from the date at the end of this page. Changes to the sales sections apply to future orders: the terms you accepted when you paid continue to govern your pre-order or deposit unless you expressly agree to a change. We will tell you about material updates that affect it.
